Denver is the biggest city in Colorado, home to approximately seven hundred thousand residents. It’s a booming hub for commercial establishments, with towering skyscrapers placed throughout the metropolitan district. With a great educational system, competitive workforce, and readily available business-friendly locations, it has attracted several companies.
In recent years, commercial developments have been progressing, in hopes of further advancing the living and working conditions of its workers. This year alone, it was reported that 20 commercial properties were being built in the metropolitan district, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
The top 3 on-going commercial constructions in the city as of this year are:
1. Block 162
This property is a premier office building on a 594,637-square-foot plan at the heart of the city’s central business district. Designed to be 30 stories high with a 9,900-square-foot retail constituent, it is expected to be finished by the end of this year.
2. 4885 S. Quebec St.
With an estimated completion date of the first quarter of 2022, this 18-story property consists of 24,955 square feet of retail area, 235 hotel rooms on five floors, 355,419 square feet of office space and an underground parking is set to replace the Extended Stay America hotel in Denver.
3. 9480 Federal Drive
Like Block 162, this 300,000-square-foot office property is expected to be completed by the end of this year. It will serve as a new headquarters for Ent Credit Union’s human resources, finance, IT, call center, consumer and mortgage lending, administrative and executive divisions, located only a few miles away from its current headquarters.
